Vitamin E is the more common name for E Pherol which is marketed as a health related supplement. Some of the brand names are Aquasol E, Alpha E,Aquavite-E , E-400 and Nutr-E-Sol. This important nutrient is also found in many different foods including some meats, oils, nuts, eggs, dairy products and leafy green veggies. There are many uses for Vitamin E and research is currently underway that is aimed at discovering additional ways that E Pherol can be utilized.

Most individuals are able to ingest adequate amounts of Vitamin E when they maintain a healthy diet. You can also purchase supplements that contain various amounts of this vitamin. You should always be careful about how much Vitamin E you are adding to your diet because too much of this fat soluble vitamin can create health problems. Although it is not considered to technically be a medication Vitamin E does create some positive cellular changes within your body.

Medication Interactions

Always talk with your physician before you add E Pherol supplements to your daily regimen. This product can interact with other prescription drugs and other forms of medication. If you are pregnant or nursing an infant you must talk with your personal physician before using this supplement. To maintain proper health you should not take Vitamin E without a doctor’s approval.

There are a number of other supplements and medications that can interact with Vitamin E. One of these is Coumadin, which is often referred to as a “blood thinner”. In some instances your doctor may ask you not to use Vitamin E, but generally what they will do is monitor your blood work and make adjustments to your routine medication so that you can take the E Pherol safely.

Follow the Guidelines

When taking Vitamin E you should remember to follow the instructions from your doctor or follow the package directions. If you have any questions about how the supplement should be taken ask a pharmacist or health professional for assistance. This will keep you from inadvertently adding too much E Pherol to your dietary nutritional program.

Side Effects and E Pherol

Normal doses of E Pherol have rarely been linked to any serious side effects.Even dosage rates that exceed 300 IU will rarely create GI upsets. There have been some cases when nausea, cramps and diarrhea can occur but this is very unusual. The most commonly noted side effects are seen when Vitamin E is applied topically to the skin surface. In these instances there have been some reports of mild skin rashes.

How to Use Vitamin E Health Supplements Safely

Vitamin E capsules that are intended for oral use should be taken intact and should not be opened. Do not bite through the gelatinous capsules and do not attempt to crush them. The membranous covering is designed to dissolve once the capsules are swallowed. Always drink 6-8 ounces of water when taking Vitamin E capsules.

If you are going to use E Pherol in liquid form you should measure the amount needed with the small dropper that comes with the bottle. This will make sure that you get the proper dosage. Keep the Vitamin E package stored at normal room temperature and keep it protected from excessive light and moisture which can cause the product to deteriorate.

E Pherol and your Diet

There is no need to drastically change your normal diet just because you are choosing to add E Pherol to your routine. This natural supplement does not have any known interactions with food or beverages.

The Cost of Good Health

The cost for Vitamin E supplements depends upon the manufacturer of the product that you are using. There are some companies that sell E Pherol capsules for less than $5. This price is for a month’s supply of supplements. Some of the more well known companies may charge 2-3 times this amount. At the present time Vitamin E is still a health supplement that can be purchased as an over the counter medication. This could change in the near future because there is a push underway that would put the control of all vitamins in the hands of physicians.

Caution and Warnings

Some people may notice that they are experiencing unusual weakness and fatigue, diarrhea, bloating, gas, nausea, blurred vision or headaches. These symptoms are usually only reported in instances where the individual has been taking large doses of E Pherol or has been using the supplement for extended periods of time.

You should always alert your doctor to these symptoms In the event that you should have any type of allergic symptoms when taking Vitamin E products you should immediately get medical help. If you should experience a severe skin rash, difficulty breathing, hives, or notice any type of swelling of the lips, face or tongue you must get professional medical assistance as soon as possible.
